2012: Mark Your Calendar

2012: Mark Your Calendar

We would like to provide you with a list of dates that we will either have limited services or will be closed for all services, for the year 2012.  We do this for your convenience 🙂

If you have any questions about any of these dates, please don’t hesitate to contact Jessie Riggs at jessie@kypsah.com.  She would be more than happy to answer any and all questions you may have.

The following dates are the dates in 2012 that we’ll be closed or have limited services:

[checklist]

  • January 7: CLOSED
  • February 24 – 25: Dog Boarding only
  • March 24: CLOSED
  • April 15: CLOSED
  • May 19 – 20: CLOSED
  • August 13 – 19: CLOSED for Vacation
  • September 9: CLOSED
  • Thanksgiving Day: CLOSED
  • Christmas Eve and Christmas Day: CLOSED

[/checklist]

This will be the first year since 2004 that we’ve closed for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!

The reason for closing over the Holidays is this….  Since we’re a family-ran business, we are all working seven days a week most of the year, always sacrificing birthday events and Holidays together.  And though we absolutely love to have special fur-kid guests with us over the Holidays, we decided we would take the Holidays off in order to spend the Holidays as a family and with our entire [extended] family.

As always, we will be open for New Year’s Eve and New Years Day for most services.

Now Taking 2012 Reservations!

We are now accepting 2012 reservations!

Please review the following dates for when we are scheduling to be closed and/or only offering minimal services:

[checklist]

  • Saturday, January 7: CLOSED
  • Friday, February 24: Dog Boarding only
  • Saturday, February 25: Dog Boarding only
  • Saturday, March 24: CLOSED
  • Sunday, April 15: CLOSED
  • Saturday, May 19: CLOSED
  • August 13 – 19: CLOSED
  • Sunday, September 9: CLOSED
  • Thanksgiving: CLOSED
  • Christmas Eve and Christmas Day: CLOSED

[/checklist]

Okay, now for a little clarification as to the changes this coming year.  The reason we chose Saturdays or Sundays to close was two-fold:

[checklist]

  • We decided to close/offer minimal services on the Saturday or Sunday that surrounded a birthday. We’ve always held birthdays in high regard so this coming year, we decided to take a little time off.
  • The reason we chose either a Saturday or Sunday (even if the birthday fell on a weekday) was so that we didn’t interfere with our client’s work schedule (since we service clients by walking dogs and giving them potty-breaks during the week while our clients are at work).

[/checklist]

A big change that you’ll see on the above list is that, for the first time since we opened back in February of 2004, we’ve decided to take one year and not work on  Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.  This is a HUGE change for us, and we hope that everyone understands 🙂

Here’s wishing you and yours an early Happy New Year!  We look forward to servicing you this coming year.
